Introductions and Enhancements:

  • Added a switch to the Routes view, allowing users to see only a text-based list that allows more routes to be visible without scrolling. Use the list icon at the top left of the routes screen to toggle the view mode
  • Turn-by-turn banner behavior is now configurable on a per page basis. Each data page can be configured in the pages app to operate in one of these modes:
    • No turn-by-turn banner on page
    • Turn-by-turn banner pops up when new instructions are available
    • Turn-by-turn banner is always on - in this case the data fields are compressed to make room
  • Based on user feedback, data fields are now centered rather than left-justified
  • Additional improvements to the chevron implementation for U-turns and looped routes

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a rare issue where Karoo could freeze and applications restart after hanging
  • Fixed an issue in which the Karoo was not properly handling a particular flag that can be returned from a crank-torque power meter. The flag had previously been erroneously displayed as a cadence value
  • Improvements were made to calibration for crank-torque power meters
  • Offline map region downloads are now more reliable on poor quality networks

Features and Bug Fixes Still in Progress:

Dashboard Software Build Version: (1.0.018):

  • Fixed related Dashboard issues where:
    • Recent activities were not viewable
    • Activities that include custom fields were not viewable
    • Long routes were not viewable. Maximum fit file size supported has been increased
